About

Ms. Hinrichs is a data analyst and researcher based in the Washington, D.C. area with over a decade of experience translating complex, multi-source data into actionable insights and policy-relevant recommendations for senior leaders. Her analytical toolkit spans quantitative and qualitative research design, data visualization and dashboard development, and geospatial analysis. She has led research and analysis programs across a range of domains, from emerging technology integration and robotic and autonomous systems to environmental security and maritime domain awareness while consistently bridging technical rigor with strategic insight. Most recently, she has focused on developing decision support tools and authoritative data products for executive-level audiences within the Department of the Navy.


Ms. Hinrichs is a certified Virginia Master Naturalist and serves with the Arlington Regional Master Naturalists. Through this program, she applies specialized training in ecology and natural resource stewardship to support education, research, and conservation initiatives that promote healthy ecosystems on public lands. She actively contributes to citizen science efforts by collecting and sharing data related to stream water quality, bluebird nesting success, and local biodiversity.


Ms. Hinrichs also serves as Chapter Committee Chair for the Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for women. Her work supports six international philanthropies and five projects that provide grants, loans, awards, and stewardship of Cottey College. Cottey is a nationally ranked, fully accredited liberal arts and sciences college for women. Collectively, P.E.O.’s programs have supported the educational pursuits of more than 120,000 women.
